Strategic PR agency, Polymedia has been appointed to support Painshill with public relations and visitor marketing in a campaign designed to raise the profile of one of the south’s hidden gems.
Painshill, at Cobham, Surrey, is a unique 18th century landscape garden, created between 1738 and 1773 by the Hon. Charles Hamilton. His vision was to create “living paintings” in a magical garden packed with mysterious follies, including a sparkling crystal grotto, a replica of the Roman Temple of Bacchus and a “ruined” abbey.
Polymedia’s brief is to help Painshill communicate its unique offering and support its “Where a Walk is a Work of Art” campaign. The campaign is designed to expand Painshill’s profile beyond Surrey, reaching out to regional, national and broadcast media and audiences including families, couples, and gardening and history enthusiasts.
