For the last two months historic, landscaped gardens Painshill in Surrey has been closed to the public, but it hasn’t stopped them engaging with their audiences and even finding new ones!

The 158-acre, independently-run park has produced a very special, small-batch gin using botanicals all grown in their gardens and distilled locally, and Polymedia has been helping to reach out to ginthusiasts.

Described as being a refreshing mix of lemon balm, lovage and a hint of shredded rhubarb, the gin is hand-delivered by volunteers within certain postcodes around Kingston upon Thames and Guildford.

Only 300 bottles of Painshill Kitchen Garden Gin have been produced at the Gin Kitchen in Dorking.

Painshill Director Paul Griffiths said: “Our Kitchen Garden gin is very special and ideal for those gin lovers who like to try the smaller-batch bottles.

“We need the support of the public more than ever during this difficult time and hope that people will buy our gin to help us survive being closed for so long.”

Polymedia, PR strategy specialists, supports Painshill with its visitor PR and they have been featured in regional, national and broadcast media. The park is also the backdrop for many films and TV adverts.

The attraction has now reopened its doors so both members and the public can enjoy some social distanced fresh air!
