Polymedia has been appointed to lead a consumer-focused public relations campaign for Festival Place, Basingstoke – one of the largest shopping and leisure destinations in the UK.
The appointment, the result of success in a competitive pitch process, sees Polymedia support the Festival Place team through a sustained online, print and digital consumer campaign.
Polymedia is working to raise awareness, footfall and dwell times at the 1.1million sq ft centre among target audiences including shoppers in the Basingstoke area, and those further afield in its secondary and tertiary catchment areas.
The campaign centres around the family appeal of the centre, which houses more than 140 big brand stores including Debenhams, Next, Marks & Spencer, Apple, H&M, Zara and New Look alongside 20 eateries and leisure attractions such as a 10-screen Vue cinema and Flip Out trampoline park.
Jo Kedward, Managing Director at Polymedia, said: “We are delighted with this significant client win, and to be working with such a high-profile centre which is justifiably proud to host so many big names in retail and leisure.
“Festival Place’s positive, friendly and personal outlook chimes perfectly with Polymedia’s own sense of fun and creativity, and we are looking forward to exciting times ahead as we work together.”
The Festival Place appointment comes on the back of a string of client wins for Polymedia, which has recently added planning consultancy Barton Wilmore, managed serviced IT specialist Aura Technology and call centre experts Ultracomms to its client roster.
Polymedia is a specialist in business-to-business and business-to-consumer public relations, working with clients including Help for Heroes, IKEA, Onecom, The New Forest, and the Dutch airline KLM.
