Another way to stay – every day!
It’s a real privilege handling integrated travel PR for Beds on Board. It means we discover a fascinating new place to stay every day. When you’re dealing with hundreds of boats across 58 countries, it’s hard not to fall in love just a little bit.
Here are just some of our favourites this week…
Picked by the Sunday Mirror for their top 10 romantic breaks, this little gem at Hampton Court is surrounded by palm trees and offers a little oasis just outside London. What’s more, your stay includes free use of kayaks and a four-seat electric boat, perfect for exploring the River Thames.
You can’t beat the view from this 1950s deep sea fishing boat – it’s moored in the shadow of Ben Nevis. Danish-made and now retired from fishing in the North Atlantic, ‘Orlik’ has been refitted with two double cabins each with a queen size double bed and a separate shower/toilet for each cabin.
If you love a city break, this luxury motor yacht in Barcelona will fit the bill. It’s moored alongside in Port Olimpic, a stylish marina built for the sailing events of the 1992 Olympics. Four cabins (including a master suite and VIP stateroom) and a Jacuzzi on the flybridge means you can live the high life here.
Formula One fans will struggle to find accommodation closer to the action than this boat in Monaco. During the Grand Prix, this luxurious Princess motor yacht is berthed trackside at Swimming Pool Corner in Monte Carlo.
